Intercession Episcopal Church is a vibrant and growing church planted in the midst of Thornton's fast-growing community at the corner of 100th and Steele Streets. Our membership reflects our appreciation for diversity and inclusion, welcoming people from all walks of life into relationship with us and with our Lord.

At Intercession we believe that God has called each and every one of us to ministry. So we assist our members in discerning God's call for them and provide training so they can perform that ministry in the world. At the same time, we recognize the need for lively worship, pastoral care, and sacred conversation. So Intercession is a place where a person can be challenged by the Word, comforted by concerned caregivers, and compelled by a broad range of Christian Education offerings.

Children and Youth are important to us at Intercession. We offer a variety of levels of fun and educational activities to our young folks. Dedicated youth workers design and provide stimulating Sunday School classes, Children's Church, and Youth Groups for junior and senior high aged kids. Above all, our children are assured through word and action that they are God’s beloved children.
