A community meal will be served every Friday 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the parish hall of Intercession Episcopal Church . Please invite neighbors, those living near the church and anyone else you care to invite to join us for a time of refreshment and fun each week.
There is no cost, although a donation basket will be set out for those interested in supporting the meals. Our very own pastry chef, Bill Stanton, has agreed to bring a delicious dessert to each community meal, so be sure to come early and enjoy.
There is some uncertainty about how many people will come to each meal, so if you are inclined to bring a side dish with you to help us stretch our ingredients that is also much appreciated.
Ximena Canales and Arturo Sazo who are directing the community meals are also organizing a community garden. They have office hours at Intercession every Friday 2:00 to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in assisting with meals, gardening or organizing, Ximena can be reached every day at (720) 980-8014 and would enjoy talking with you.
